    1. Hi Janie, we are hoping to have it up before the end of 2018….stay tuned….. good things come to those who wait for things that are unique and special. We will see you at the start line in July 2019.

  1. Can you clarify the 5540m vertical gain and loss please? Is the 5540m up and 5540m down or 2,770m up and 2,770m down? Thanks

    1. Hi Robbie,
      Yes that is 5540 meters of Climbing the descent is slightly more I believe 5590, it is technically a down hill event! This is why the 110 km is receiving 5 ITRA points and it is designed to prepare athletes for racing at the UTMB, UTMF, UTA and beyond.
      I hope this sound like a fantastic challenge for you
      Shona

    1. Hi Paul,

      As long as you have a sub 5 hour road marathon you will qualify for the Brisbane Trail Ultra.

      I can say yes!

      ONE OF THE BELOW RECORDED TRAINING RUNS OR RACE RESULTS
      Distance – 50km training or event on trails;
      Time – Sub 5 hour road marathon; or
      Time – Sub 10 Hour 50km Trail Running Event
      Time – Sub 9 hour trail marathon; or
      Time – 100km trail running event in under 28 hours

      Here are the qualification requirements above.
      I hope I will see you at the Brisbane Trail Ultra Festival on the 6-7th July 2019!

      Warmest regards
      Shona and the BTUF team
