The field at the Brisbane Trail Ultra gets hotter by the week! Shona is working with Ezekiel Cheruiyot Kurui, Kenyan 🇰🇪 Ultramarathon Runner, has a blistering fast 1:03 21km, 29min 10km, but his heart is set on the STWC 🌏🏆 BTU100Mi
Much to our surprise! Ezekiel is a previous Team Kenya Comrades and Athletics Kenya Representative. Fingers are crossed his Visa will be approved in time for our event.

We are super excited to have the Hammer Team along at the BTU-2022 as Hammer Nutrition Australia has been supporting the Brisbane Trail Ultra from day one in 2019 and Race Director Shona Stephenson since 2013.

It has been a tragic week for the trail-loving community. The recent news of the death of two hikers on the Wentworth Pass, Blue Mountains National Park, after a landslide has shocked us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and the whole Blue Mountains and Sydney Trail Running Community. We’re sure this sad news has touched everyone, especially those who have a personal connection to the Blue Mountains.
The recent unprecedented rainfall that has impacted the east coast of Australia has meant that many sections of the Brisbane Trail Ultra course are still closed. As planned, we have our April Training Camp this Saturday on the BTU60 course. We hoped that the ground would dry out enough for our visit, however, we are still unable to access the trails around Gold Creek Reservoir. We have re-routed the course to avoid these areas. We are in contact with Queensland National Parks and Wildlife and SEQ Water for approval of our new training camp course. If you have entered the BTU- April Training Camp, keep an eye out for an email from Cora this afternoon.

Onetime has announced that all Brisbane Trail Ultra orders must be in for printing the Race Bibs with your Flag of Origin and Name of Choice on the bib, which is the 1st of May. If you’d like to have your name on your bib like Hayley in this photo, and your flag of Origin please enter before the 1st of May to Guarantee Your Unique Bib is printed in time for the Brisbane Trail Ultra.

We want to make sure everyone who should be entered is entered as we SOLD OUT of all our Standard and Early Bird Entries and Only have only a small number of Late and Last Minute Entries Available in Each Event.
