Wow! What a fantastic training camp! I think the coaches had just as much fun as the runners! It was so good to connect with the BTU Newbies Community at the latest Wild Earth BTU Training Camp Yesterday. We had all types of runners attending; some were just new to trails and had never run more than 10km, others eyeing up the BTU110 and wanting some one-on-one tips to help them have a better day-to-day experience, prevent injuries, and improve their training.
Our coaches, Liam McKenzie from The McKenzie Method, Jodie Oborne Ultra Chick, and Susannah Harvey-Jamieson, were on hand to provide fantastic trail running tips and were willing to share their secrets with the group.

We are proud to announce that we’ve used an Australian Indigenous supplier to create our high-quality and stunning race singlets for the BTU2024.
For the BTU2024, we’ve taken inspiration from the iconic Cabbage Tree Palm (binkar), which is located on the BTU course and on the trails, especially prominent on Double Break at Mount Nebo.

Race Director and trail running community legend Chris Ord , who understands that the trail running community is a little bit cray, cray, put on a show for the trail running community for the WTF is a three-day celebration of all things trail and mountain lifestyle featuring a bunch of trail runs from 5km through 50km, day and night, flat and fast plus a stupidly steep with even a Lilo Race so the support crew can cool off in the creek while the runners sweat it out.
