Brisbane Trail Ultra® is Queensland’s most prestigious trail running and ultramarathon running event, attracting runners from across Australia and the Globe to experience the stunning virgin rainforests of the iconic Brisbane Hinterland, with it abundance of wildlife, adventurous trails that cleverly connect the forest to the Iconic Brisbane River. Brisbane Trail Ultra is proud to be part of the Spartan® Trail and Golden Trail National Series Australian Final, powered by Salomon, which will be awarding 4 Golden Tickets to compete in the Golden Trail Global Series Grand Final in Europe in October 2024. The Brisbane Trail Ultra is renowned for being the most generous trail running event in Australia and will be awarding the BIGGEST prize pool with $15,000 in cash plus a further $11,000.00 in prizes from our sponsors.

We are excited to announce that in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 we hosted the Brisbane Trail Ultra® and are part of the Spartan Trail World Championship, which is the most generous global competition that is focused on providing the best possible trail running experience to it’s entrants.
World Class Event
Since 2019 we attracted runners from across the globe, with entrants flocking to the event from Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, The United Kingdom, the United States of America, New Zealand, Singapore, France, Estonia, New Caledonia, Spain, Canada, India, Poland, Switzerland and Malaysia. In 2023 trail runners from across Australia and the globe are flocking to Brisbane for the best trail ultra party in Queensland.

Safety is important to the Brisbane Trail Ultra® team. We have two roaming Queensland Ambulance 4WD vehicles, plus a medic at each checkpoint and finish line. Supported by All American Wheeling and State Emergency Services Queensland, Remote Athlete Support Team
