We proudly announce the Brisbane Trail Ultra Training Camp Season.

BTU Training Camps are designed to help you get “trail fit” mentally and physically and build your confidence on the trails, training and racing so you’ll be prepared for the toughest trail running race in Queensland. It’s time to kickstart 2025 with ultimate trail-running adventures with newfound trail-running buddies under the guidance of experienced coaches!

The BTU 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 training camps were a huge success, with our athletes starting the Brisbane Trail Ultra® marathon feeling confident with their course knowledge, nutrition hydration and training programs. Book in, as we have limited numbers, and we sell out. We are proud to say a few managed to jump onto our podiums! Congratulations to Ursula Adams (1st ever 100km event), 2nd place in BTU110 and Andrew Hayward, 5th Place BTU100Mi (2nd attempt BTU100Mi),

Don't be deceived by the distance showing on the mapped route, we have had several different distances come up on watches and most often hit 44km!

We will be travelling along the BTU 60km route for the first 34.5km of the run so you will see turn by turn where you will need to follow.  When we get to Mt Coot-Tha we will then head back to Corra-Mulling Park and then the Gap Park n Ride via the Python track.

This route is rather undulating and the single tracks are absolutely amazing (some of my favourite country through here). I would highly suggest you wear grippy shoes and if you would like to practice running with your poles, this is the best time to bring them out.

We have consistently clocked over 19km on my watch 4 years running this same route and have hit just under 1000m vertical climb.

We will be running back out to Dundas Bushcamp CP4 and follow the 100mile course from here for 15km before heading back from Taylor's break (showing you the Standpipe turn off) back to the start location.

Estimated running time:

3-4.5 hours

This has been the range of times we have previously run for this route and please remember many of us are backing up from the day before.

We have small groups of just 20 runners in each group, so you will get the most out of your time with your training camp running coach and Brisbane Trail Ultra® Coaches. We split the groups up into 2, speedy runners and Run walkers.
