Refund Protection

Brisbane Trail Ultra® Uses Race Roster Registration Refund Protection third party refund provider Protecht. You can purchase this during race registration. We highly recommend this small investment to your entry to cover you in case you need to cancel your race entry.

You will be asked to OPT IN or OPT OUT to this service when you purchase your entry. If you’ve already entered, and you purchased refund protection here is the link to claim your refund.

  • BRISBANE TRAIL ULTRA® Refund Policy

    Brisbane Trail Ultra® refund policy is below. Please read carefully for dates and cut-offs for the below refund key dates.

    REFUND OF 75% PROVIDED FROM THE START OF ENTRY UNTIL THE BELOW DATE

    TRANSFERS TO ANOTHER RUNNER

    ENTRY TRANSFERS TO OTHER ENTRANTS ARE AVAILABLE AND WILL INCUR AN ADMINISTRATIVE COST OF $70 PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF RE-REGISTRATION OF THE NEW REGISTRANT.

    DEFERRALS

    Deferrals will not be offered for registration for the BTU2024 unless you are able to volunteer at our event.

    We recommend purchasing Refund Protection to cover your ticket, or alternatively transferring your ticket as per above.

    Circumstances may arise that mean changes have to be made to the Event e.g. COVID-19 restrictions, fire, extreme weather conditions, riot, protest, that may put the safety of the runner and the safety of the Brisbane Trail Ultra Event staff and volunteers in danger. Brisbane Trail Ultra® will make every effort to ensure the amended Event goes ahead safely. Refunds will not be made available for participants in this instance. If the Event cannot be held on the set date, Brisbane Trail Ultra® may either reschedule or cancel it. If this happens, these three options will be made available to participants: transfer their entry to the new date, our postponement date is 4th, 5th and 6th October 2024, receive a credit towards following years event,· receive a refund less administration fee and canceled event running cost. Transfer your entry to another runner for the 2024 event or the following year 2025 event to another runner.

  • Jump onto your refund receipt and click on the “request a refund button.”

  • TRANSFERS

    The Power is in your hands. You can transfer between events and to another Runner without the help of the Brisbane Trail Ultra® Team.

    Login to your dashboard Brisbane Trail Ultra Entry Order Email and Click on the Button “Transfer”. Then choose the “Change Sub-events, or “Transfer Entry to a new Participant” to transfer your entry to another runner.

  • What a shame, hopefully we will see you next year. But to help you out now, you have the below options open for you.

    Option 1 is a Partial Refund depending on when you are withdrawing from the the BTU. See the table below.

    Or

    Your are more than welcome to on-sell your entry to another runner, this will incur a $70.00 Admin Fee that the new person will pay when they enter the BTU using your entry.

    If you are local, we’d LOVE for you to volunteer at our event. We offer a deferral to runners who can not make it to our event but who volunteer. If you’d like to join the BTU team and help out at our event, jump on our volunteer page and become a BTU Legend.

TRANSFERS

The Power is in your hands. You can transfer between events and to another Runner without the help of the Brisbane Trail Ultra® Team. It is easy, jump on the Registration website. Login to your profile, or click on your Brisbane Trail Ultra Dashboard.

Click on the Button “Transfers”.

Then choose “Transfer to a new sub-event.”

Transfer between events is complimentary. You will need to pay the difference if upgrading to a longer event. If you are swapping to a shorter event there is no refund offered for the difference.

ENTRY TRANSFERS TO OTHER ENTRANTS ARE AVAILABLE AND WILL INCUR AN ADMINISTRATIVE COST OF $70, PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF RE-REGISTRATION OF THE NEW REGISTRANT.

This option opens on the 1st of February and the cut-off for this is Jun 15, 2024, 11:59 PM.

The power is in your hands, you're able to do this without our help, by following these simple steps.

  1. You can log in to your registration dashboard.

  2. Click on the menu bar “Transfer.”

3. Click on the button “Transfer to another participant.”

4. Type in the new participant’s email address.

The new participant will be emailed with a link to enter the event.
