We look forward to BTU 2025 and hosting the Australian Final of the Golden Trail National Series powered by Salomon. The lineup looks impressive, with runners switching between events to be part of the action. BRING IT ON!
Entries are rolling in fast, and with runners swapping between events, we predict that both the BTU20 and BTU10 (Sold Out in 2024) will sell out before race day.

With the changes to the BTU in 2025, we are proud to be supported by Run Vault Adventure and Trail Running Store, as the official Trail Store partner of the BTU, but also with Run Vault Performance, with Jamie Hunter as our trail running performance coach joining our team of BTU coaches. He also has packed experience as the famous Mountain Goat Trail Running Series race director.
Why do we like Jamie’s style of coaching? Jamie has a background as a PT and in OCR racing, and of course, he’s conquered the BTU100Mi! So, he has the knowledge and experience to guide his clients through the training required to finish the BTU. Jamie approaches running coaching holistically, ensuring his clients are strong, injury-free, and ready to tackle their adventures in life. He also creates a space through his running clubs for like-minded people to connect safely with their community with his running clubs.

Changes to BTU - Follow-Up
We are always so humbled by the BTU community. The support we have received from our entrants, community leaders, and sponsors has been fantastic, and we can’t thank you enough. The BTU20 is the Golden Trail Series Australian Final, and BTU10 is shaping into exciting events. Elites have swapped from the more extended events to the BTU20 (really 25km ;D) to support the race and test their speed against the fastest trail runners in the oceanic region.
So, with all this support to energise us, we’ve worked diligently and with great care to ensure that our email inbox has been thoroughly cleared each day, and we will remain committed to doing so throughout the Christmas and New Year Holidays. This dedication will guarantee that all affected BTU runners receive their refunds or partial refunds without delay, and we are swapping and partially refunding runners who still want to be part of the BTU and the iconic Golden Trail Series National Final to the BTU20.
