BTU10 Route, Map update - BTU100Mi Early Bird Entries Added - 🔥Early Bird🔥 Entries Close 31st January
Brisbane Trail Ultra, Spartan Trail World Championship has been asked to move CP6, JC Slaughter Falls to Mahogany Trail, Mt Coot-tha Car Park.
CP6 - Mahogany Trail, Mt Coot-Tha Car Park is on the corner of Sir Samuel Griffith Drive and Scenic Drive.
This change meant that we had to re-design the BTU10 course so we achieved the full distance for the BTU10. This is because the CP 6 move had shortened the route by 700m.
We are excited to announce that the BTU10 will now be part of the BTU - Red Bull Climb. We know the community loves the new course as we’ve just sold through our anticipated entries for Early Bird Rates. Take a breath, we’ve just added some more Early Bird Entries onto the Onetime Entry Page.
The course will now start and finish at CP 6, Mahogany Trail, Mt Coot-Tha Carpark. this is where you will meet the wonderful Brisbane Trail Runners as they look after you all. The route will take you down the Mahogany track and onto the Red Bull Climb along with other BTU distances. At the 4.3km mark, after the Simpson’s Fall Bridge, you’ll make your way around the Eugenia Circuit and turn right to join back onto the BTU 30km route (and back onto the original 10km route) via the Fairy Wren circuit. 5.2km to go! Ghost Hole track, Litchfield Track, and fast descent back to CP 6 - Mahogany Trail, Mt Coot-Tha Carpark.
All up, BTU10 2022 = 10.4km with 320m elevation gain and loss.
