Big shout out to all those who raced the Resolution Run by Race Director Steve Jackson, Trail Trips and Events who also host our much-loved events from Wild Earth Coastal High, Boarder Bolt, In the Raw and Flirt with Dirt.

We then took some lucky BTU-2023 Training Camp runners, plus BTU legends Katie Dall and Josh, up the mountain onto the BTU110 and BTU100Mi course to take some photos for our upcoming campaign and ran over 18,000 steps up and down stairs, fire breaks and along stunning rainforest trails to capture some of the best bits of the BTU to share with you. Salomon Ultra Glide 2 Shoe Review
One of the joys of being a Race Director is that I can test the range of trail shoes and let the BTU Community know which Trail Shoes will be fantastic for our course. Salomon Brand has a fair amount to live up to; its reputation as the leader in innovation for trail running is massive.
Could their shoes live up to the hype? How good can they be? I asked myself.
So off I went on a few trail runs and also tested them down Township Break and more. After testing the shoes I am happy to report that I am impressed with how they feel, the grip, fit, trust, colour, and performance, so much so that I've bought 2 of the Ultra Glides 2 because I LOVE ❤️ Them so much and put them on rotation.

Club KT - Community Run or Walk Group
We were invited to one of Club-KT Community Run or Walk Group’s Yesterday and it was a BLAST! Club KT met at Newstead Water Front Park and it is complimentary for all those willing to run-or-walk 22min out and back along the stunning Brisbane River. It’s an out and back, so you can control how far you go and the intensity of your run. I threw in a few walks as we returns and chatted on my way back to loads of people and met new friends and caught up with familiar faces with was awesome.
Group hostess with the most-ess, Running Coach and PT Katie Dall and BTU race ambassador and Training Camp Coach also organised the trial of bone conduction Shokz Headphones, they are not noise cancelling meaning they are safer for running on streets and better for running in groups or races so you can hear people around you I was lucky enough to give them a go, and they helped me grove along the river with a smile on my face!

CLUB KT X SHOKZ WALK RUN CLUB

After the run we all headed to The Woolshed for a coffee, located in Black Sheep Cycling and shared stories with a group of welcoming runners.
