Congratulations to all the BTU2021 Podiums at the B100 One the weekend.
The standout performance was from Reesha Lewis who broke, Race Director, Shona Stephenson’s long-standing record from 2014 by a whopping 18 minutes. Reesha SMASHED Shona’s time on an arguably harder course. We believe Reesha will be able to go on and run anywhere in the world and hold her own. Shona was ranked 8th in the World when she set that time, it proves that Reesha is an amazing athlete. Stunning effort Reesha.
We’d also like to congratulate Cecilia Mattas BTU30 Winner Jacqui Bell BTU100Mi 2nd, Sheree Barnes BTU100Mi 5th for making it into the top 10 in the womens’ BTU100. Nicholas Bamford, BTU100Mi 2nd place male took out the Men’s BTU100 followed by BTU2019 4th place Shaun Pettit came in 2nd. The B50 we had Anderson Moquiuti BTU60 3rd in 2020 in the top 10 and a stellar 2nd place Carol Robertson who has been in our podiums consistently since 2019.
We spotted Tom Brimelow, Jess Schutler, and Hayley Teale out on the course too. It was so good to see everyone again.
We will get back to work, I am sure we will speak soon
Cheers
Shona and Cora.
