The BTU just got event BETTER!
We are super excited to announce our latest partnership with Shokz Open Ear Headphones. This means we will have AMAZING PODIUM PRIZES for the top three male and female runners across all events PLUS SHOKZ will now be the sponsor of the Kangaroo Cliff Climb, and will be named “BTU-SHOKZ Stair Climb”.
Why do we LOVE the Shokz range?
We love the “feels” of bone conductor technology, which delivers superior dynamic stereo sound. The range simulates being in front of a speaker and you have an all around sound experience without cutting out the noice. This means you can hear traffic, other runners, sirens and most importantly your coffee order!
The range in’t just for sports, it transitions effortlessly between Mobile and PC with Human Voice, Standard, and Earplug Mode for customisable listening for audio books and podcasts. We will be adding Shokz Headphones to our Safety Briefing and in our “Other Items” in what to bring to the BTU.
We’ve had the chance to Test, Try and Love three different types of Shokz Open Ear Headphones. This is what we think below;
Thank You BTU Volunteers!
Putting on a race as BIG as the Brisbane Trail Ultra requires the united support of the entire running community. The event, with a course spanning over 160 kilometres and lasting 36 hours, demands extensive registration, setup, and dismantling coordination. We draw heavily on the selfless dedication of volunteers for the running of our event over the past 5 years, and will continue to need to have engenerised volunteers for the 2024 event and into the future.
We’d like to thank Bunyaville Trail Runners, Bunya Belles, River City Runners for their support for the past BTU’s.
