Catch our interview with BTU110 Winner, AURA Long Course Trail Running National Champion Mike Carroll.

Enjoy a feel-good chat with a chilled-out, humble ultra runner who loves running and can dedicate his life to his passion.

Mike shares with us how he is constantly learning from ultra running and what it teaches him personally at each event. It has a refreshing perceptive on racing, and he also discusses how he has overcome a pretty severe injury.

He touches on race day nutrition and his everyday nutrition, fast before long runs, and enjoys ice cream! This interview will inspire you to think differently about racing when it isn’t going your way, turning the experience into an adventure into self-discovery.

Congratulations, Maree Connor, on your stellar performance at Coast2Kosi, 240km from Eden to the peak of Mt Kosciuszko (2228m) 2021.

The conditions were so harsh, with an inclement weather finish. Maree is the 2nd all-time best female time 28:45:45, (Joasia Zakrzewski Scotland 28:18:53 holds the female course record ) Maree has the fastest Australian female time. Jo Ward took out the men’s and overall win.

Our BTU team is so proud of the BTU100Mi winner we love watching our athletes go on to be successful in other events. We can’t wait to have Maree back on our course to give the BTU100 Mi another crack in 2022!
