Become a BTU Legend, Sweepers and Marshals we need you!

Hosting a world-class event like the Brisbane Trail Ultra, and Spartan Trail World Championship is only possible because of the 200+ selfless Volunteers that we have working at our event.

Volunteers are the backbone of any event, they help mark the course, fore-run and check course markings, Marshal at key intersections, sweep plus of course volunteer at our checkpoints, registration, hand out race packs, and GSP Trackers and of course help with the cleanup and pack down when it is all over. Our festival Volunteers help to improve safety and ensure everyone has a fun day out. They are also a cheer squad bringing the positive good-time vibes and be that one person that gives you those words of encouragement at the right place at the right time that turns your race around, or gives you that push when you need it, this is why we call the BTU - Legends! The BTU Volunteers are what makes the Brisbane Trail Ultra a special event.

Brisbane Trail Ultra believe in making long-standing relationships with our volunteer community. You are the fabric of the race and become trusted BTU Legend team members. If you’d like to join a supportive positive network with a wealth of experience in hosting world-class It’s Live In Queensland Tourism, Spartan Trail World Championship events connect with us, we’d love to hear from you. Course Change Outlook

We are waiting for confirmation from SEQ Water regarding the recent work on the trails around Gold Creek Reservoir. Once we have confirmation that those Breaks are open for Commercial Activity we will let update the course GPX, and KML Files and add those to the website Map Page.

As you can see from the above forecast for the week ahead, Brisbane’s, Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious weather patterns have changed to stable mild winter conditions that are perfect temperatures for trail running. We hope that those lows stay mild and we have a warm race overnight. As you can see below, Mount Nebo may be potentially colder than Mount Glorious overnight.

Let’s hope the weather remains mild, but we are prepared if there is a shift in the climate in the lead-up to the race. Stay tuned for an update this week with the GPX and KML Files of the predicted BTU-2022 Course below with the Suncorp Stadium Detour.

We are expecting Race Bibs to arrive this week, meaning your race packs will be processed. If you need to swap between events, you are able to do this on your own without our help by Logging into your Onetime Profile and editing your entry. If you do switch events, we will not change your bib if it has your name printed on it, this is to keep our environmental footprint as low as possible by reducing our waste.

Transfers between Participants closed on the 16th of June.
