Long Range Weather Forecasts are Looking AMAZING 🤩 If the weather stays like this, we will be going with the Standard Mandatory gear Kit. Forecasts on Mount Nebo, Mount Glorious and Brisbane, are all similar; keep in mind that these temperatures can vary in the Mountains depending on where the weather station is located. It is best to prepare for the temperature to drop to zero overnight at Mount Nebo and hope that it stays at a low of 8-10 degrees.

WEBSITE and PDF Maps have been updated with the Confirmed Last Leg Course. GPX and KML Files will also be uploaded once they are confirmed. BTU10, BTU20, and BTU30 will have the correct route uploaded today. BTU100Mi, BTU110, and BTU60 will have the right maps uploaded on the 2nd of July at the latest.

Regarding possible course changes for BTU60, BTU110, and BTU100Mi;

We’ve done our best to keep the distances between the checkpoints as close as possible to the original course. This means there will only be one change in checkpoint location.

We believe the Contingency Plan Course we’ve put together is a special one and we are really proud of it.

Sneak Peak of the BTU - Contingency Plan Course - TBC 2nd July

To help you prepare as much as possible before your race day we can say that if we have to change the course the change will be at Gold Creek Reservoir, planned burns along Gold Creek Boundary Break, Gold Creek Walking Track and Layhey’s Break, no Black Cockatoo Trail. A controlled burn is desperately needed through this section of the course. If this section is closed for the duration of the event we will move the CP5 to Corra-Mulling Park our Start Line for BTU100Mi, BTU110, BTU60, BTU30. Your support crew logistics will become easier, by utilising our Start Line at Corra-Mulling Park as CP5. The distance changes only slightly, less technical, faster course with slightly less elevation gain and loss. The GPX/KML Files are being approved with SEQ and QNPWS as we speak. Once this is confirmed we will be able to provide these files to you, we are aiming for the 2nd of July, one week before race day. Please do not send us an email regarding this new course, we won’t answer it until after the 2nd of July when all the course is confirmed. We will update the Race Tables for the BTU60, BTU110 and BTU100Mi.

Antonio Martínez Pérez - Spartan Trail World Champion 2021 Arrives TONIGHT! He’s coming straight from his recent Lavaredo 20 WIN, and Record-breaking run in Italy; Sara Alonso Martínez arrived on Tuesday Night! She is racing Mont Blanc Marathon this weekend; we wish her the best of luck!

We request that you keep the email questions to a minimum; please jump on the website; the INFO Menu should be able to answer most of your questions. If there is a registration question, please direct them to Connar at Onetime. We are processing the race packs today! Remember to SIGN UP for our newsletter to make sure we are not in your junk folder.

We hope that you enjoy the AMAZING weather; remember to stay out of Gold Creek Reservoir and Mt Glorious as there are planned burns in both these areas leading up to the race. Training on Mt Coot-Tha is the best option.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Brisbane Trail Ultra - Stay Tuned for the 🙌 BTU BAR🙌 UPDATE at Joey’s Cafe! YES! We are putting a tab on the bar for Pizza 🍕 , Chips 🍟 , Beer 🍺 , Cider 🍻 and Iced Tea 🍹 for our finishers to enjoy 🎉
