    Trail Running Etiquette

We want you to have the best possible day while out on the course. This all starts with how you treat each other and the community around you while you are out racing.

We ask you all to maintain good trail running etiquette on the trails, keep to the left, listen to runners coming up behind, WE LOVE SHOKZ OPEN EAR HEADPHONES FOR THIS REASON. With SHOKZ Headphones, you can hear the runners around you while still grooving along to music. It is good practice to always offer to let runners pass if you hear them catch you. Have a chat, let them overtake, wish them good luck, you might then make a friend forever to catch them later on a different section of the course. In crowded areas and when crossing the road, we ask that you do not wear headphones and listen to runners, volunteers, police, traffic controllers and traffic.

It’s these little things that do make a difference. So get out there and have fun and enjoy the BTU party.

  • Support Crews

Please ask your support crew to visit our Support Crew page. They will be able to find all the information they need there including maps and Support Crew Rules.
